The Cat Care Center of Baton Rouge began as a heart whisper early on in Dr. Lacie Lee's journey to becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Lacie has always held a special place in her heart for cats and even contemplated feline only practice in 2002 when she graduated from Louisiana State University. It is a practice devoted entirely to cats, and the atmosphere is quiet, and appealing to cat behavior. The care of my cats has been top notch, with the doctors and techs explaining all procedures ahead of time, and the costs associated with them. The boarding facility is A+, and I would have no qualms about leaving my cats there for a night or an extended stay.

I have had the absolute best experiences at Cat Care; no vet has ever compared to Dr. Edwards or Dr. Lacie. When every vet was telling me to put my kitten down and refusing to even do testing; they showed me compassion. They showed Clover compassion as well. They comfortably extended his life for ten months. I will be FOREVER be grateful for everything they have done for me and for my cat. Truly the most incredible clinic and team around.

I love Cat Care Center! I have been a client since March, and I have been so happy with all of my experiences here. The staff is friendly and continuously exceed my expectations. My cat Frances is “less friendly,” and the staff has never made me feel like she causes any issues, or she can’t be treated here. Dr. Lacie spends so much time with her patients and never makes you feel like she is rushed to get out of the exam room or off the phone. Dr Laci and staff go above and beyond for their patients. Our cat Rajah has dental issues. Raj received the most caring and loving experience at the center.

Absolutely fabulous! Our Púca sees them for veterinary care and just completed his first (but not last!) stay in one of their luxury suites as a boarder. Púca was so happy and calm when he came home I could tell he had a very relaxed stay. These people definitely know what they’re doing and very obviously love doing it.
