Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

On August 30, 2023 was one of the hardest days of my life, having to put my fur baby down. I can’t say enough about Carson’s Veterinary Hospital! From the front desk to the staff in the back to the doctors and the helpers, these individuals are hands down number one in my books. They did everything possible to help make this transition a peaceful one. You people will always hold a special place in my heart, thank you a million times!!!

I have had pets my entire adult life and I have never been more grateful to Dr. Maggie, Michelle , and the rest of the staff for there outstanding care for my 4 fur babies. Our boy Scotch has has serious pain and with love and devotion they have eliminated it. Carson animal hospital has the most compassionate staff calling to make sure all is well and loving my babies. Never before have I had pets feel comfortable and actually liking to go to the vet. That tells it all - pet approved! Thanks for everything!!!

Our beloved dog, Advan, of 14years recently was diagnosed with prostate cancer and passed on 06/24/2023. Advan (Addie, Addicans, old man - they all fit) was our special boy and our hearts are broken. Carson Clinic, specifically Dr. Frady (but the ENTIRE staff) was there with us as our boy passed. Dr. Frady even sat and cried with us as we held him for the final time. When feral momma left a 3-week-old kitten in our garage, there was no question as to what vet hospital to take her to for help. This now 6-month old is a healthy "giant" thanks to the Carson employees. They are very loving and compassionate with her and always friendly to Russ and me. I have been going to Dr Carson's office with my 2 babies for the past 8 years and love everyone there and every vet tech and dr. We had an emergency saturday with our youngest and they got us in and out within an hr without an appointment! And they took such good care of her and put me at ease knowing she was going to be ok! Been going to Carson’s for many years . In fact since 1996. We had Bear and Noelle . Bear lived till he was 21 years old. Present day we have 3 babies . Bella, Dakota and Ellie. The new place is beautiful and large. The Vets are great . And the staff is great 👍
