Bloomfield Pointe Vet and Dr Balue are awesome. The staff, especially Emily is great, knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor is a kind person who is all about the animals. His price is reasonable and his knowledge and expertise is great. I would recommend him completely.

I don't know who has a vendetta against this office... But you don't know what you're talking about because they're wonderful. Yes, they are people that are way too invested in the animals that they care for, they put in a ton of hours and they might be tired because they care too much. For anyone to say that they don't care, is crazy! They are literally in it for the animals. I've taken both my dogs to Dr Ballou's clinic in Pontiac and I was very Satisfied with the treatment they received, in my opinion he is one of the best , at very reasonable rates and I would always trust him and his knowledgeable staff. he would take care of my dogs when nobody else wanted to and I'm very grateful for the care he provided for both my dogs.

We took my dog to see Dr Ballou. We thought she had a bowel obstruction, which turned out to be pancreatitis. Dr. Ballou was wonderful along with his entire staff. Within 3 days it was like she was never sick. The most caring and compassionate Vet that we have ever taken our dogs to. I wouldn't take them anywhere else!! Thank you Dr. Ballou and staff!!

After a brief moment of panic and wondering if I was at the right place, this place exceeded my expectations. The building and parking lot might be old but what it lacks on the outside it more than makes up for on the inside. I would rather have it that way than the other way around. The process was explained from start to finish. I was kept well informed of the upfront estimate. There was no push for extra services that were not needed . I can't recommend this vet. You can see the way the owner responds to those who leave reviews. And shockingly, that awful, hateful attitude of his has now hit the local news where it's come to light that he's being investigated by the sheriff for doxxing (revealing personal details) of those who leave negative reviews or those who he *thinks* are leaving negative reviews. I cannot trust my babies with someone like this and hope nobody else does. The poor people who don't look on the Internet to know things like this are happ... read more

The workers were rude and dodgy about pricing. I couldn't get a straight answer and received different information depending on who I was talking to. The practice is also being accused of sharing personal information of clients online who have left negative reviews (not yet proven, just complaints and journalist trying to investigate without cooperation of the company) but based on them not being up front about pricing and their rude behavior, I would avoid them. Just my opinion based on a personal experience.

Be aware, they were in the news today for allegedly posting personal information and threatening messages to customers who gave them poor online ratings. Read the online reviews and make your own choice.
