We can't even get our sick cat's actual prescription sent to us via email. Her food order is waiting for the vet's approval (on Chewy) and they keep sending me a link to their own pharmacy. I called them several times this morning to no avail. Very disrespectful and unprofessional people! If you love your pets, DO NOT GO TO THIS JOKE OF A PLACE!
I am very upset the way my FURBABY was treated by your staff this weekend at the boarding facility. Someone SHOULD had picked up the phone and called us when he got sick. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my baby before my husband dropped him off Friday, he was his HAPPY go lucky pup self. I've used Belton Vet Clinic for almost 10 years. I took my dog in to have 6 tumors/cysts removed and tested for cancer. Dr. Fish did her surgery yesterday. I picked her up this morning and her incisions and sutures were the worst I've ever seen. She was bleeding when I picked her up...they said it was normal. I questioned her sutures, because there were gaps and tissue sticking out. I was told it was "just because of the skin," and that everything was normal. It was definitely not normal. I took my dog in for a dental procedure and she came out unable to mover her 2 front legs. I called them and they hung up on me twice. They have horrible service. I took her back and the doctor charged us to do an X-ray and blood work that was of no use. He stated “I’m not sure what is wrong with her.” So he gave her pain medication. Last night she couldn’t breathe and got very stiff so I called the emergency and they hung up on me. I took her again today because she is immobile from her front legs. Unprofessional when it comes to trying to get answers on services offered at the clinic and the staff answering the phone have no idea how procedures are done by the Providers. I have let messages for the Veterinarian to call me back over 2 weeks ago and have still not received a response. I attempted to call today and was placed on hold for over 18 minutes and when I tried to call back, their phones had been sent to a answering service. Very sad when this Veterinarian was recommended by several Ranchers.
Last year I made an emergency farm call to Belton Vet. The situation they put me and my horse in still leaves me bitter. On Dec 31st at around 3pm my horse began experiencing seizure-like tremors in her legs. She was unable to be loaded into a trailer. Called Belton because they were closest and was not yet set up with a vet. Been here before and loved it, the vet I saw today was horrible. Spent 3 minutes with us and answered no questions about any concerns I had. Then the tech was so rough she caused our dogs ear to bleed which has never happened during an ear cleaning in the 9+ years we have been doing it. But I'm told it's probable a result of the treatment... You mean she was too rough and hurt her worse than before I brought her in. Now off to another vet to make sure her ear isn't damaged too bad.
After some people I know recommended this vet.... I went in to get an estimate today for a surgery my dog needs. I was already turned off because this clinic required me to come in to get the estimate instead of just giving me an estimate over the phone like all the other vets. Just read an article about Mama. This is just WRONG! I was just there today too. I will not be going back ever again. Whoever has Mama needs to give her back to her family where she belongs. Heartbreaking!
