The nurse staff is great, but Dr. Morsy "Sam" Alsamadisi has lost 3 law suits before and it shows. We went to All Pets after buying a puppy Chiweenie from Shakeapaw in Green Brook. All Pets was closest to us and Shakeapaw recommended we make sure to see Dr. Levy. Our fault for forgetting that one little footnote, our experience would have gone completely differently, and All Pets may have gotten a much better rating. *this is my experience going to All Pets with a Friends of Animals spay certificate* What a horrible experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy and fine, the person who helped me over the phone was nice and friendly. I specifically asked about any additional costs (aside from the certificate we had already purchased) that we should expect when taking our puppy to get spayed. I was told a c section for my frenchie was $1,500 then the day before her surgery Dr.Sam Called me at 9pm an told me he has to charge me $3,800 because she has more than 6 puppies inside her.He knew I would have to pay 5k or more for a emergency c section anywhere.So he called (9pm) the day before an raised the price.What a crook I had no choice but to go along i talked him down to $3,500.Very very unprofessional they even forgot to give me medicine for the dog.Diddnt find out till 5 days later because she got a infection be... read more

On Friday, March 4, 2022 I brought in a stray cat that my daughter and I had rescued. The appointment was only to get the cat scanned, to see if the cat was chipped and had a home. I never said a word of doing anything else but that; no neutering for the cat (he wasn't neutered), blood work or shots. The employee (Erin) that I spoke to on the phone knew this and confirmed that the appointment was just to get the cat scanned and would be FREE OF CHARGE. I really don't know what to make of this place. First of all, the smell inside is so gross. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but I can tell you that it's repulsive. Secondly, I've never felt more ripped off in my life. When I called, I asked for all the things I'd be expected to pay for the neuter/spay (I forget which is which) for my two cats. We had a grooming appointment for our cat and we called the morning of to confirm the appointment. They said everything was great and to bring her in. We drove 30 min and when we got there we sat down filled out the paperwork and we waited. The vet came over to my daughter and I and said they were too busy and to come back next week. Very disappointed, will not be coming back here. Very unprofessional. Not sure why it says i'm from San Francisco. I live in Hunterdon County.

I'll get to the point -- small, old fashioned, dingy office. Clearly they don't have the most current machines and medical technology. But even worse than that? Dr Alsamadisi is always in "perpetual rush / crisis / don't have time for you!" mode. It's ridiculous. His obnoxious dismissal of your questions is contagious to the staff. If you call them expect to hear: "Vets office please hold". And boom you're on hold. They also refuse to let you get any meds from say, Chewy dot com. We've always received outstanding care here for our little pet dog and several cats we've owned. Dr. Sam & Dr. Levy and the entire staff have always been kind and compassionate. They provide excellent care and make themselves available at all hours for any type of emergency. I can't say enough nice things about All Pets. Highly recommended+++
