We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

RecommendedI want to thank everyone that was on duty July 24th when we had to make the hard decision to let our dog Mia go. She had cancer that had moved into her lungs very quickly. The staff was beyond exceptional! We received a condolence card today, which was sad but also very sweet. Thank you all!
I want to thank EVERYONE at Advanced Animal Care. You all were so nice when I needed it and every other time I have been there. The cards mean a lot too. Thank you all.

We brought our sweet fur baby in evening. All the staff from the receptionist that first greeted us ,to the tech that collected information and the Dr were absolutely outstanding. We will be bringing all our pets here from now on. We live a hour away but it is well worth our drive. Thank you so much for the concern,compassion and love you showed us and our sweet Ellie.

I cannot say enough good things! Dr. K was amazing and the staff were all so kind to me and my pup. The facility is wonderful too!Service is very prompt as well! I’m so glad we decided to go to AAC☺️

Absolutely would recommend to anyone! We had a tragic emergency late Saturday evening/early night and no local vets would help us. We drove an hour to Advanced Animal Care of Richmond and the staff was very compassionate and caring with Blondie and us from the very beginning until the end when I picked up her urn today. One staff member even done nose and paws prints for us and a clipping of her fur, i can not explain how much that meant to us. Will not be using anywhere else for my furbabies <3
